I've been learning guitar, sort of, and am amazed by the amount of content on the interwebs.  Free stuff is substantial, and for pretty low prices ($25/year) one can get access to  a huge amount of information and support.  Of course, nothing really substitutes for grinding out practice.  But there is a lot of coaching on how to practice!
